Hi, the "eject" button of one of my AXIS9's has stopped working suddenly. The player has a CD inside and all the rest works fine. I have tried turning the unit off and on, but it did not change anything. I do not find an alternate way to open the tray, and ift offers a great resistante to pulling it (Looks like I might break something if I pull)
Btw, I have had the unit for a couple of years, mainly for home use with a few gigs every now and then, and the unit is in very good condition otherwise.
Has someone had a similar problen and/or knows how to open the tray? (I have a gig on saturday!)
Thanks in advance,

The only thing i could recommend is updating the firmware for your Axis 9 but unfortunately you would not be able to do that with a CD stuck in it. I would recommend sending it out for service. Let me know where you are located and i can recommend an authorized repair facility.
Hi, thanks for your answer,
Of course I cannot update the firmware if I cannot open the tray :-(
Besides, I already have the latest firmware update.
I am in Barcelona (Spain). The problem is that I am leaving tomorrow at 8am (I have a gig in Madrid on Saturday). I am afraid I will have to pass without that player for the gig...
I can take it to the shop where I bought it since it should be under warranty. I do not think it is two years old (but then I should be able to read the date on the invoice, which has faded: can we know the age of the machine by the serial number?). However, if you know a better place to take the player, let me know.
If you are under warranty you will need to contact the retailer where you purchased it. They should have your receipt on record. If warranty service is not an option for you, for a suggestion of a repair facility you will need to contact the distributor below.
