I’m frustrated

HELP! NS6 WITH NO FIRMWARE, I DONT WANT IT TO BE A BRICK FOREVER :(

Hi, I have a MASSIVE PROBLEM
I accidentaly deleted my Firmware in my NS6 (the first ns6 not the II) with the following steps:

1. Power OFF NS6
2. Attach to Windows PC via USB (note: NS6 Drivers must be installed for recoginiton)
3. Power ON NS6 while holding down the FWD, LOAD A and LOAD B buttons.
4. When you see CUE button on right deck blinking, press CUE. (This will erase the old FW.)

Note: You should now see the LOOP IN button on the left deck lit solid white.

Now the ns6 cant connect to the pc and is always showing the LOOP IN button on the left deck lit solid white. Obviously because it does not have Firmware.

I found in the serato forum discussion/467269 the next solution:

update the FW using Midi Updater:

1. Be sure the update mode procedure (above) is complete and USB is still connected.
2. Double Click "Midi Updater" to open
3. Drag "NK18_v1.13.sys" file into the Midi Updater main window.
4. Click "OK" for the Important message prompt (steps above have already prepared the unit). Click start update if asked.

You will now see NS6 Loop LED's flicker across the unit. A progress bar in the updater will be displayed.

Important: Wait for the entire send to complete. do not interrupt. If interrupted, you will need to execute the process from the top.

5. When send is complete, the Right Deck CUE button will blink RED. (Updater will ask you to check your device. Click OK).
6. Press the blinking right CUE button to confirm.
7. Remove USB cable from NS6
8. Power NS6 OFF then back ON.
9. Reattach USB cable. Done

To access the NK18_v1.13.syx firmware file contact Numark support.

The problem is that i contacted support in order to get help and recive the files, but
I have not received any response from Numark support team.
Does anyone know any other solution to this problem? or anyone know where can i find those files? I would really appreciate it :)

    Hi, I got the files by email, appreciate it, I followed every step but still no succes... the midi updater software works correctly and send the firmware without problems, after sending the firmware i pressed the right CUE button as the guide says, immediately the NS6 freezes so I proceed to restart it, after restart almost ALL buttons turn into red and it wont connect to the pc or do anything else... it just stays all red...I could not find any solution in any other forum,



    I tried in 3 different PCs, all of them with the same result.

    Hope you can help me.
