Numark M6 with Traktor

Hi, is it possible to use Numark M6 as an audio interface, so I just connect it with USB to my laptop and then I can get all the 4 decks in Traktor to appear on separate channels in the M6?

Also, are the EQ knobs of the M6 complete kill?

Thank you

  • Hello,

Thanks for posting. The M6 USB is a class-compliant device that can be used with any digital audio workstation or recording software that supports USB audio. To enable your M6 USB to send and receive audio to and from your computer, follow the instructions below for your computer's operating system:

    Hello,

So I recently upgraded from the Numark M2 to the Numark M6 with USB. I currently have it set up to use a BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA202 with male RCA cables on the output end for one channel, the USB cable it came with for another channel, and a 3.5mm to 2 male RCA for the 3rd channel. I'd like to be able to use all four channels with Traktor, and I'd like it to be good quality. The 3.5mm to 2 male RCA cable sound quality diminishes by a noticeable difference. I was just using this set up temporarily while I started to learn to DJ with Traktor Pro 2.

I'm looking to get all four channels if possible and I understand I'll need to buy something, but would like something that doesn't break the bank as I'm starting it off as a hobby and don't know if i'll ever try it professionally.

    Thanks in advance! :)
