Numark N4 Virtual Dj Pro recognizing problem

I have virtual dj pro and when i plug my n4 in and start up vdjpro it doesnt turn on the lights like it does on vdjle. and i go to the config and the n4 is there on sound setup but when i go to mapping its not there. I tried downloading the mapping files and it still doesnt get recognized.. does anyone have a solution? please help!

Before trying to use Dj software, does the computer see the N4 as a new sound card?
